How to find serial number location for ECHO 58V Cordless Products, Batteries and Chargers
Where is the serial number or manufacturing number located on my ECHO® 58V Cordless Product, Battery and/or Charger?
- The 58V Cordless Products, Batteries and Chargers have 14-digit serial numbers located on a label attached to the product. It is important to note that these tools also have 9-digit manufacturing numbers located on the same label attached to the product.
- The 14-digit Serial Numbers is used to register the tools.
- The 9-digit Manufacturing Number is used to identify the correct IPLs to use when ordering service parts.
Batteries & Chargers:
CBP-58V20 - 2AH Lithium-Ion Battery:
The serial number for the 2AH Lithium-Ion Battery is located on a black and white sticker on the back side of the battery. See photo below:
CBP-58V40 - 4AH Lithium-Ion Battery:
The serial number for the 4AH Lithium-Ion Battery is located on a black and white sticker on the back side of the battery. See photo below:
CBC-58VA - Lithium-Ion Charger:
The serial number for the Lithium-Ion Charger is located on a black and white sticker on the back side of the charger where the hanging holes and power cord exits the charger. See photo below:
58V Cordless Products:
CHT-58V Hedge Trimmer:
The serial number for the CHT-58V Hedge Trimmer is located underneath the unit. With the unit off, lay the unit on it's side and look for a black and white sticker attached to the bottom of the orange rear handle housing. The Manufacturing Number will be 9 digits and located under the model number on the black and white sticker. The Serial Number will be 14 digits and located in a white area on the black and white sticker. See photo below:
CPLB-58V Handheld Blower:
The serial number for the CPLB-58V Handheld Blower is located underneath the unit. With the unit off, lay the unit on it's side and look for a black and white sticker attached to the bottom of the orange housing. The Manufacturing Number will be 9 digits and located under the model number on the black and white sticker. The Serial Number will be 14 digits and located in a white area on the black and white sticker. See photo below:
CCS-58V Chain Saw:
The serial number for the CCS-58V Chain Saw is located underneath the unit. With the unit off, lay the unit on it's side and look for a black and white sticker attached to the bottom of the orange housing. The Manufacturing Number will be 9 digits and located under the model number on the black and white sticker. The Serial Number will be 14 digits and located in a white area on the black and white sticker. See photo below:
CDST-58V Dedicated String Trimmer:
The CDST-58V Power Head and the Trimmer Attachment will both have a different sticker with different models number, serial numbers and manufacturing numbers. The serial number for the CDST-58V Dedicated String Trimmer Power Head is located underneath the unit. With the unit off, lay the unit on it's side and look for a black and white sticker attached to the bottom of the orange housing. The Manufacturing Number will be 9 digits and located under the model number on the black and white sticker. The Serial Number will be 14 digits and located in a white area on the black and white sticker. See photo below:
The serial number for the CDST-58V Trimmer Attachment is located on a black and white sticker attached to the silver shaft below the coupler. The Manufacturing Number will be 9 digits and located under the model number on the black and white sticker. The Serial Number will be 14 digits and located in a white area on the black and white sticker. See photo below:
